Caribbean Protected Areas Gateway

The passionate team at the Caribbean Protected Areas Gateway is wholeheartedly dedicated to our mission of strengthening biodiversity conservation policies and promoting the long-term preservation and sustainable use of natural resources within protected areas and the surrounding communities in the Caribbean region.

Comprised of individuals with diverse backgrounds and expertise, we share a common passion for the protection of terrestrial and marine biodiversity. Our relentless efforts are aimed at bridging the gap between data and informed decision-making. With specialists in marine and terrestrial ecosystems, fisheries, and natural resource management, we bring together a wealth of knowledge and skills. Our shared commitment lies in making a significant impact on the sustainable development of the Caribbean region.

Through close collaboration with our esteemed partners, we offer a wide range of capacity building activities, essential services, and innovative tools. These resources are designed to complement and strengthen existing platforms and initiatives, allowing us to make a meaningful and substantial contribution to regional development.
