This paper describes the methodology and validation process used to create a national flood hazard map for Grenada. The map can be used to identify areas that are at risk of flooding, but it is not detailed enough to be used for precise flood modeling. The authors used a frequency magnitude analysis to determine the annual maximum daily rainfall of available stations with records of at least 20 years or longer. The map is a useful tool for identifying areas that are at risk of flooding and can be used to check which settlements and areas are exposed to floods.
